In commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the Enugu Diocese of the Anglican communion on 4th December 2021, the Archbishop of Enugu Ecclesiastical Province (Anglican Communion) and the Bishop of Enugu Diocese; Most Reverend Dr Emmanuel O. Chukwuma dedicated the newly built ultramodern Diagnostic Centre of the Good Shepherd Specialist Hospital, located within the premises of the Christ Church Compound, Uwani-Enugu.
The Diagnostics Centre houses some departments such as the Laboratory Services Department, the X-Ray Room, the CT Scan room and more. It is built to accommodate numerous state-of-the-art equipment like the 1.5 Tesla MRI, CT Scanner, 4D Sonography (ultrasound), Digital X-Ray, 3D Dental Panoramic X-Ray, Digital Mammography, etcetera.
All the units in the hospital, as always, boast of competent and licensed consultants and health professionals from varying backgrounds, whose areas of specializations are in tandem with their employment position at The Good Shepherd Specialist Hospital.
